Sweet Tooth

My husband has a major sweet tooth (I would rather have more "meat and potatoes")
and somehow it seems like there is never anything sweet around our house, maybe just maybe its because it gets eaten to fast who knows?
So yesterday I told him that from now on I will try to make a special effort to bake something very yummy on  Mondays (so he could have something sweet in his lunch all week)
O you should have seen the look on his face *priceless*

So what am I baking today???

What it means to live out your dream

As I was thinking about what the header should be for my blog "Living out my dream" is what came to my mind. So it got me thinking what it actually means

At first when I think of the word dream I automatically think of something far off that i hope to someday accomplish, but when I stop and think I realize that yes indeed I am living out my dream. Since as long as I can remember I have wanted to stay home and raise kids:)  Does that mean that everyday is just glorious and I float along the clouds and never hit reality? absolutly not! I have bad days when I question myself. Really did I actually want this for my life?? On Wednesday (the day i set up my blog) was one of those days. The weather was miserable, Aisha has three teeth coming in and she has a cold, and I am in the middle of Spring cleaning (which i'm very ready to be finished with). By the time Steve got home Aisha and I were both tired of each other. So Steve took Aisha and hung out with her and I had some free time. It wasn't long but just enough to re-energize me. So for me not living out my dream is not always very glorious but deep down in God reasures me that yes I can do this and this is what he has called me to do! (and most days i love it)

I love how God reminds me that I am his child and that what I am doing is very important.

What are you doing today that you always dreamed of doing?

I'm new at this

So i've decided to start blogging, not only for others to read but kind of a journal for myself. I love reading other peoples blogs and how encouraging they are and thought why not. My goal is to share a little of my life and to encourage other mothers in this journey of raising kids.

I want to share a few goals I have for this year

1. I want my blog to be encouraging and uplifting
2. I want to learn about photography, which is another reason i wanted to start a blog because I want to post pictures and i desperatly need to learn about editing and i figured this would give me a boost. so any suggestions would be very welcomed!
3. I want to learn how to sew, very random i know, but with my crafty side coming out sewing would be so handy so again any suggestions would be welcomed.

I do not want to neglect my beautiful daughter while blogging so my blogs might be a little random, i normally am on the computer in the morning before she wakes up and sometimes when she's napping.
So here goes
